New Delhi: The explosion that trashed India’s sovereignty – Arun Shrivastava

Arun Shrivastava“Don’t Indian intelligence agencies know what is going on? Of course they do; just as top operatives in the CIA and FBI know what is going on; the serious ones within French, German and British intelligence also know what is going on.” – Arun Shrivastava

Bombed diplomatic vehicle, New Delhi. The important thing about the attack on an Israeli diplomat’s car [109 CD 35; blue number plate with CD meaning Diplomatic Corps] is that it happened within the square mile of sanitized Delhi that rules over 1.2 billion Indians. This is an intensely patrolled area; at every intersection you will find a fast police car with armed policemen to cordon off an entire street or several streets within seconds of any terrorist event.

Therefore, it is simply inconceivable that a lone rider on a motorbike stopped by the Israeli diplomat’s car, attached an explosive device, and scooted from the scene before the car blew up. And all of this within seconds. Either the policemen were sleeping – all of them, at the same time – at quarter past three; or something else happened.

The lone eye witness who saw something being attached could have been any one, or anything, we don’t know. On Aurangzeb Road, which is an address to die for, every hour 1500-2000 cars move. By counting the stately mansions on this road, you can arrive at an approximate figure of India’s current billionaires.

About fifteen years ago, one of the residents of Aurangzeb Road, a well-connected big industrialist, was offered several million dollars in monthly rent and a deposit of Rs 500 million in any bank anywhere in the world. This is one of the most beautiful homes on Aurangzeb Road and the person who offered the deal was the then Israeli Ambassador to India. Some folks are extremely pushy and today the Israeli Embassy is located somewhere on Aurangzeb Road.

Alon Ushpiz, Ambassador of Israel in IndiaWithin hours of the attack on the poor lady diplomat, the Israeli Government was spewing venom on Iranians. And within hours, an embarrassed Indian Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna, recently back from his Tel Aviv sojourn, came out with a guarded statement that ‘investigation have started’ [whatever that means]. By evening the American Zionist lobby indicted India for its illicit relationship with Iran despite puritanical international sanctions.

Need Indians remind the Zionist lobby that India’s relationship with its neighbours goes back six millennia [i.e. 6,000 years x 365 days=2.19 million days] if not earlier? Zionist Israel arrived in these parts about six decades ago and that too illegally. Zionist bankers bank-rolled the British occupation of large part of Asia [East, South and West] and extracted their pound of flesh by dispossessing the Palestinians. Perhaps they made an offer that the Palestinians refused, just as the Indian businessman on Aurangzeb Road; and so they acquired a prime property in West Asia by force.

How many Iranian nuclear scientists have been done in by the Mossad? Hourly, we hear that Iranians must be stopped from becoming a nuclear power. Hourly we hear that Iran is a terrorist country; switch on the neo-liberal imperialist TV channels — CNN or BBC or Fox — and the presenters are usually frothing with spittle drooling from the corner of their slavish mouths.

Abraham FoxmanWhat was the role of Mossad in Mumbai mayhem on the night of 26th November, 2008? The killing of Rabbi Gavriel and Rivka Holtzberg brought about a global outcry almost in unison against anti-semitism and the vicious designs of Islamic terrorists. And within hours Abraham Foxman, Director of the Anti Defamation League, came out with his own variety of venom:

“This brutal attack once again shows that terrorists single out Jews. The attack is a reminder that the world must stand up against all terrorism, because in the end no one is safe until terrorism is combated in all its manifestations.”

It never occurred to this foxy Foxman that a determined terrorist would spare Chabad House for two victims when he/she can attack thousands living illegally in the remote villages in Kullu valley and around Dharamshala [Dalai Lama’s de facto capital]. Over 10,000 Israelis, mostly from the armed forces, come here, live illegally, smoke pot and screw around. Very soon, Yiddish, the Ashkenazi lingo, will become the second language in these parts. I know these villages very well.

Why has the Chabad House been under investigation in India? In February this year, the Israeli couple running the Mumbai Chabad was told to leave India? 4000 Chabad Houses in 73 countries, ostensibly to provide support to visiting Israelis, perhaps to supply pure Kosher meat, in reality a huge global network of ‘Crack.’ And this is not an isolated event. Since Mumbai mayhem, many Israelis all over India have been told to leave.

Is the Delhi car bombing related to the pressures being brought on by Israelis [the tail] that wags the dog [London and DC] for India to rethink buying oil and gas from Iran violating the “international sanction” imposed by a few imperialist powers? Blow up a few more high profile Israelis in the square mile of the power centre of India and world’s mainstream media would blow your TV screens, so loud would be the condemnation of Islamic Jehadists from Iran. Holding 1.4 trillion dollars of ill gotten gains in Zionist banks, the Indian political class will capitulate. Or lose their cash and properties in Monaco, London, Paris, and Cayman Islands.

L.K. Advani & Israel President Ezer WeizmanHasn’t it already? When 9/11 happened, the senile PM Vajpayee wanted to be “selected” as a key partner in West’s sham GWOT. His Home Minister, another senile politician Lal Krishna Advani, went to Tel Aviv a year earlier to forge an alliance to fight Islamic terrorists, giving a vital operational base to the Mossad in sensitive Kashmir. Headed by Eli Katzir of the Israel Counter-Terrorism Combat Unit and Israeli military intelligence officials, a new era of “cooperation” with world Zionism started and with each passing year the Indian intelligence framework got more and more deeply penetrated by those very forces that engineer terrorist acts worldwide.

Don’t Indian intelligence agencies know what is going on? Of course they do; just as top operatives in the CIA and FBI know what is going on; the serious ones within French, German and British intelligence also know what is going on.

And they all know that Car No 109 CD 35 has served the purpose of terrifying the political class within the square mile. And the folks who live within that square mile have stashed too many billions in Israel-friendly banksters’ banks not to take it rather seriously. – Vijayvaani, Feb. 15, 2012

  1. Quds Force Logo

Hezbollah, Quds link in attack on Israeli envoy – Pramod Kumar Singh | The Pioneer, New Delhi, 10 March 2012

Syed Mohammad Ahmed Kazmi the Delhi-based freelance journalist who worked for Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) and also as a contractual news reader with Doordarshan’s Urdu News has been found to be involved in the conspiracy that was hatched to attack the Israeli woman diplomat in New Delhi.

His role was revealed after the Thailand Police searched the room rented by one Iranian woman Rohani Leila in Bangkok after the failed attack that had coincided with the attack on Tal Yehoshua-Koren on Aurangzeb Road on February 13.

Investigators had found Kazmi’s phone number from the house. Call records proved that Kazmi was in regular touch with the module that threw a bomb at the car of Israeli Embassy. Leila was part of the module that had tried to attack Israeli diplomats in Bangkok. Leila had fled Bangkok on February 5. Investigators say Kazmi was the main facilitator of the attack as he provided logistics to the bomber and helped in surveying the target in the Indian Capital.

Highly-placed sources said on Friday that investigations are veering around to the very strong possibility of the involvement of Quds Force in the terrorist attack. Said to be a shadowy unit of the Iranian Army with backing from Lebanon’s Hezbollah, there is evidence to suggest that Quds Force has been trying to expand and stamp its importance. This force was created during the height of Iran-Iraq war. Quds helped Kurds against then Iraqi President Saddam Hussain.

Out of action following the uprooting of Saddam’s regime in Iraq, the Quds Force now appears to root for Palestine. There are indications that Quds Force is waging a relentless war against Israel and their agents carried out a series of attacks in India, Georgia and also Thailand.

According to investigators, Kazmi had confessed to have provided logistics support to the module from Iran. Senior officials of the Ministry of Home Affairs, who held a meeting with the Delhi’s Commissioner of Police, too confirmed that Kazmi has been identified as the facilitator of the hit squad. It was he who provided all the necessary information, abetted and harboured the men who were tasked to target Israeli diplomats and their vehicles.

Kazmi’s arrest came after the Special Team of Delhi Police pieced together the links in the run up to the conspiracy that was hatched way back on the early months of 2011. Kazmi emerged as the central figure for having provided logistical support to the bomber and that included their stay in the Indian Capital and surveying the area around the Israeli Embassy, an official said. Kazmi, an accredited journalist with the Press Information Bureau (PIB) had reportedly spilled the beans regarding the attack. “His arrest is the turning point in the investigation,” a senior Delhi Police officer said.

Investigations have also found that the attacks in New Delhi, Tbilisi in Georgia and Thailand were interlinked. It may be recalled that the Israel’s Ambassador to Thailand Itzak Shoham had then said that the New Delhi and Bangkok attacks were similar. Explosive devices discovered by the Bangkok Police were similar to those used on the same day (February, 13) against Israeli diplomats in India and Georgia. According to Itzak Shoham, Israel’s ambassador to Thailand.

Investigations by the Thailand Police had led to the identification of 28-year-old Rohani Leila who had fled Bangkok on February 5. Leila was part of the module with Saied Moradi who had his legs blown off while trying to bomb a taxi and a police party. Third accomplice of Leila and Moradi was caught by the Malaysian Police at Kuala Lumpur airport.

  2. “Is the Delhi car bombing related to the pressures being brought on by Israelis [the tail] that wags the dog [London and DC] for India to rethink buying oil and gas from Iran violating the “international sanction” imposed by a few imperialist powers?”
…. while the so-called “terrorist attacks” a couple of weeks ago might be more directly related to demonizing iran and helping to facilitate the pretext for any possible attack, your quoted hypothesis provides an interesting “extra” dimension.

  3. This article is just conspiracy theory rubbish. Even if we assume that Mr. Shrivastava is correct, and there was no way that a lone rider could have attached a bomb on the Israeli diplomat’s car, how exactly does that prove that Israel would be willing to bomb its own diplomat? All it means is that the bomb was placed on the car before it was parked, so that still does not rule out a jihadi terrorist.

Israel may have a swanky embassy on Aurangzeb Road, but so what? When the Palestinian National Authority (which has done literally nothing for India) gets a prime piece of New Delhi real estate to build their embassy, why shouldn’t Israel? Moreover, what does that have to do with anything that the author is talking about? How does Mr. Shrivastava expect readers to view his writing to be objective when he goes on pointless tangents to sneer at Israel?

It’s not surprising that Israel would “spew venom” upon the Iranians; Iran supports terrorist organizations like Hamas and Hezbollah that openly proclaim their desire to annihilate Israel, and it’s not at all inconceivable that they would attack India for being friendly towards Israel.

India’s relations with Iran may go back 6,000 years, but that relationship was eroded when fanatical Arab armies invaded Iran and destroyed its rich Zoroastrian heritage to make way for the brutality that is Islam, just as they tried to do in India itself. As far as Israel is concerned, it did not arrive in the Middle East six decades ago; Jewish history in the area stretches back thousands of years, and long predates the reigns of David and Solomon. The Palestinian “dispossession” only took place because the Palestinians and the surrounding Arab states refused to accept the 1948 UN Partition plan, while Israel accepted it, making its creation completely legal, though Mr. Shrivastava would have us believe otherwise. Though some Arabs were forcefully expelled by Israel in the ensuing war, which the Arab states started, others left because the leaders of the Arab states asked them to leave, while others fled simply to avoid being caught between two armies. Had the Palestinians accepted the two state solution then, not only would there be no refugee crisis, there would have been a Palestinian state since 1948 in the West Bank and Gaza. Those Arabs who chose to return to Israel and sign a document promising to become loyal, productive citizens, and renounce violence, have been fully integrated into Israeli society. Israeli Arabs have more rights and freedoms than any other Arabs in any other Arab state.

What Mr. Shrivastava ignores, as most people do, is that many Jews were expelled from Arab countries at the same time, and had to travel a greater distance into a completely different culture, unlike the Arab refugees, who often only had to travel a few miles to another part of Palestine, or a nearby Arab state with very similar culture. No one talks about these Jews, because Israel absorbed them, and that too, without depending on UN aid. Yet, the descendants of the Palestinian refugees are still in refugee camps in places like Lebanon and Jordan, who refuse to absorb them in order to keep the refugee plight alive and blame Israel. The fact that the Palestinian refugees are managed, not by the UN High Commission for Refugees, like all other refugees are, but by their own organization, the UN Relief Works Agency, doesn’t help. UNRWA classifies the children of refugees as refugees as well, making the Palestinian refugee count increase as the years go by, while all other refugee populations decrease.

It is supremely ironic that the author whines about Israel, while ignoring the brutal Islamic occupation of Iran that goes back 1400 years, and has turned a proud, noble Persian civilization into the breeding ground for hate and oppression that is Iran. To imply that Israel procured its embassy in India by force is get more baseless conspiracy theory, and yet another tangent the author uses to spew hatred against Israel. Indeed, it is rather pathetic that the author complains that “imperialist” TV presenters are “usually frothing with spittle drooling from the corner of their slavish mouths” when his own hysterical condemnation of Israel on spurious grounds could easily place him in the same category.

The idea that the Mumbai attacks were caused by the Mossad is more crackpot conspiracy theory. The Mumbai attacks were carried out by the LeT led by Hafiz Saeed, and backed by Pakistan’s ISI. How can it be otherwise when the surviving LeT terrorist, Ajmal Kasab and LeT operative David Headley themselves ratted out the ISI? That the author views Abraham Foxman’s condemnation of terrorism as “venomous” is simply cruel. What exactly was Mr. Foxman supposed to say? That the deliberate targeting and murder of Jews was somehow okay? At any rate, Mr. Shrivastava’s refutation of Mr. Foxman’s claim is a red herring. The fact that the terrorists deliberately murdered Jews is in and of itself proof that they hated Jews. That they did not target Israeli tourists in India is irrelevant. They wanted to terrorize INDIA by attacking India’s financial capital, and killed Jews because they happened to be there. Mr. Shrivastava is essentially employing a modified version of the “No True Scotsman” fallacy by saying that the terrorists in question were not “determined” simply because they chose to murder two Israelis rather than thousands. Why is murdering two Israelis not sufficient grounds for being considered a determined terrorist? The determination of a terrorist is entirely independent of the number of people s/he succeeds in killing. Arbitrarily setting a body count on what constitutes a determined terrorist is not only illogical, but an insult to to the victims of the attack. I am sure they would see the terrorists as extremely “determined” people.

Perhaps most disgusting are the authors slanders against Israelis in India. They are not in India “illegally”; Israelis often vacation in India after completing their service in Israel’s military. To say that they do nothing but “smoke pot and screw around” and allege that they peddle crack under the guise of kosher food, is more baseless, vacuous, hateful verbal diarrhea from the author. It is, as usual, irrelevant to the subject of the article, but it appears that, yet again, Mr. Shrivastava cannot resist an opportunity to sling mud at Israel.

India may closely cooperate with Israel on counter-terrorism, but so what? Iran certainly doesn’t help India fight terrorism. Mr. Shrivasvava’s much touted 6,000 years relationship apparently has not produced the amount of trust that a mere 20 year relationship with Israel has. Iran gives nothing to India save for oil, and does nothing to stop the Organization of Islamic Cooperation’s ritual condemnation of India’s position on Kashmir. In contrast, Israel not only gives India counter terrorism support, but it also gives India military technology, space technology, medicinal technology, water technology, agricultural technology, information technology, and tourism revenue from the same “pot smoking” Israeli tourists that Mr. Shrivastava contemptuously slanders. Israel was one of the few nations that didn’t condemn India’s nuclear tests. Israel is a better friend to India than Iran has ever been, and Mr. Shrivastava’s zany vitriol is a poor response to Israeli friendship.

Mr. Shrivastava’s article is, in short, a loony hate rant that fanatically blames Israel again and again, relying on tiresome conspiracies involving shadowy Zionist bankers, “imperialists,” and the Mossad, but precious little in the way of evidence. It more closely resembles something that we would find in the Charter of Hamas, the fanatical Islamofascist terrorist organization that, similarly, envisions a worldwide Zionist conspiracy.

However, I am not at all surprised that Mr. Shrivastava would write something like this. Sanitized screed that blames anything, whether it is the bogey of “Hindu terror”, “the Zionists”, “foreign imperialists”, poverty and lack of education etc. for Islamic jihad as preached by the Quran and the Hadith is commonplace in the politically correct fantasy land that the Indian media lives in. I am, however, rather baffled that respectable online publications like Bharatabharati and Vijayvaani, that are dedicated to the cause of Dharma, and generally publish insightful, thought provoking pieces staunchly and unashamedly defending Sanatana Dharma, would publish this kind of invective.

  4. Delhi car blast: India refuses to blame Iran – IANS, Feb. 16, 2012

NEW DELHI: Amid Israel’s charges about Iran’s role in the attack on an Israeli embassy car here, India Wednesday asserted that it has no evidence yet linking any individual or county to the terror attack and assured Tel Aviv of full support in the probe.

Indian investigators are currently examining records of 115 phone calls made to Iran, Israel and Lebanon from Delhi for clues in the Monday bomb attack.

Iran said it could neither confirm nor deny the Israeli allegation and asked India to verify the charges.
“We are not accepting or denying this. We don’t know anything. We hope that India will verify the case to know the real position. Till now, their final reaction has not come. We hope it will come,” Iranian Ambassador to India Seyed Mehdi Nabizadeh told reporters here.

Meanwhile, Iran’s tense ties with the West threatened to take a turn for the worse as a defiant Tehran displayed its nuclear might and began loading domestically-made nuclear fuel rods into its research reactor amid a national TV address by the Iranian president.

Two days after the terror attack on an Israel embassy car in a high-security area close to the prime minister’s residence, External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna met Israeli Ambassador Alon Ushpiz and assured him of India’s full support in probing the incident.

Krishna is understood to have conveyed that investigations are progressing and stressed that India does not have any evidence so far to link any individual, entity or country to Monday’s attack.

Ushpiz said he has been assured of India’s full support in investigating the incident.

“The meeting was a very good one. It is just another shining example of support, friendship and intimacy that we have been lucky to be exposed to in the last 48 hours since this very saddening vicious terrorist attack on one of our people took place here in the heart of New Delhi,” said Ushpiz after the meeting.

The envoy said the health condition of Israeli woman Tal Yehoshua, 40, who was injured in the attack, was improving. “I can say that there is a constant improvement, a gradual but constant improvement in the condition of our friend.”
Krishna also said that as requested by Israel, extra layers of security will be provided to the Israeli mission and its employees, said official sources. The Delhi Police is understood to have tightened the security of the Israeli embassy staff.

Amid renewed pressure on Iran over its nuclear programme and the Israeli allegation about Iran’s complicity in the New Delhi attack, Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma said in Islamabad that trade between New Delhi and Tehran is unlikely to be affected by the car attack.

There is no outside pressure, said government sources, adding that the Iranian issue figured prominently in discussions between Foreign Secretary Ranjan Mathai and senior US officials during his visit to Washington last week.

Saudi Arabia is understood to have offered India to hike its export of oil to make up for the shortfall from Iran. India has not responded to the offer.

The Saudi ambassador met Krishna Wednesday, but official sources said that only the situation in Syria and bilateral ties were discussed.

An unidentified motorcyclist Monday attached an improvised explosive magnetic device to the Israeli embassy car which exploded into flames. The sources said that the calls were made to these countries in the 15 days before the incident.
Delhi Police were still hunting for the motorcyclist who attached the magnetic device to the Israeli embassy vehicle on Aurangzeb Road.

A nine-member Israeli forensic expert team arrived here Wednesday afternoon with samples of the explosive used in the botched terror attack in Tbilisi (Georgia) Monday and Tuesday’s three blasts in Bangkok — also blamed on Iran.
They examined the cars damaged in the bombing to find out whether there were any similarities in the explosive substance used in all the incidents, police officials said.
